I’m old enough to have seen first hand the anguish, the pain, the horror of untreated AIDS killing people. I worked in hospices in the 1980s and early 1990s. I saw it up-close-and-personal. Everyone in the world needs to have access to those medications and treatment regimens. It’s not too much to have just one day a year to focus at least a bit of continued attention on that task and goal.
